My wife thought she would join the 'fun' and asked them if the pizza was actually still in Italy, which went down like a lead balloon. To say they were treating the whole thing as a joke was an understatement. She was put on hold, then passed to another person, then another. My wife rang on her phone and asked where the pizza was. I rang the store, explained the problem and got stuck on hold.
It was a weekend night, so you need to have some flexibility and patience, but when it got to two hours and no food, patience ran out. An hour and a half later and no meal and no contact to explain why not.
We ordered a pizza deal meal via Domino's website to be delivered to us via their Long Eaton store. Hope the manager reads this as he was taking care of delivery orders while I waited, and should address topping portions and pizza quality, or retrain staff so 2 out of 8 pizza slices DONT get served without toppings. I'm not going back again, even though I enjoy these pizzas, no topping = no point keep going back. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the quality here falling down hill fast, especially on busy nights like a Sat night. Had I known 2 pieces of pizza would have NO TOPPING, I would not of ordered either. NOT HAPPY, had I known waiting time was this long I would not of ordered. I was told its a 20 min wait, but waited 52 minutes.
Well the same happens with MEDIUM too, I had 2 pizza slices with NO TOPPING again. Today I ordered MEDIUM, and told the girl I don't want large because the topping is so thinly spread out, you get pieces with NO TOPPING. Yes i've had the LARGE, but when you open it at home and find pieces of pizza with NO topping, its disappointing and gives the impression what they put on a small goes on the MEDIUM & LARGE too. Well, having had many pizzas from here since it opened on the £9.99 any size COLLECT pizza option, I'm giving up.
